We cloth diaper, recycle, repurpose, and reuse whatever we can. I clean with vinegar and TTO, dr. Bronners, and grow veggies in the back yard. Hubby composes our yard clippings.

We use cloth diapers, wipes, and un paper towel. We harvest rain to save on water. Recycle/reuse everything.

We recycle, use cloth diapers, have a rain bucket, compost our leftovers in a compost barrel and use it for the garden, use only earth friendly cleaning products and we don’t flush the toilet unless it’s mandatory….we call it the “save a flush” system. We use cloth bags for groceries and if we forget them we use paper bags from the store and either return them to be recycled or turn them into really cool envelopes…..I could go on and on…..and on……

We use cloth diapers, cloth grocery bags, cloth lunch bags, reuse glass jars and bottles for homemade foods and condiments, make our own detergents and cleaners out of food safe ingredients, recycle, dress in hand me down or consigned clothing, use public transportation and shop for locally grown or raised produce/eggs/milk/meat. We’ve had one car since 1998 – and we’re a family of 5 (my mother-in-law is one of the 5 – and she has her own wheels). I can’t believe we have managed like this – but I often don’t think about it. We use public transportation a lot and my job give me an eco-pass (bus pass).
