This Moment

{this moment} – A Friday ritual from Soule Mama, one of my favorite bloggers. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you’re inspired to do the same, leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see.

  1. SO sweet!!

  2. How PERFECT!
I remember when my daughter was in preschool (she’s 11 now) and that’s how she was feeding the dolls. I was so proud!

  3. I love how she’s looking at the doll with that same adoration bf mommies look at their “real” babies. I never understood why every pic of a mommy had her looking at the baby like that until I had my own. Love this 🙂 I hope my son will do this some day – as odd as that may seem.

  4. This is so lovely and sweet! I agree with Dawn, love the look on her face and the way she is cradling her baby in on arm at just the right angle.

  5. I love that picture and have many pictures of my 1st son nursing his baby or stuffed pheasant, he is now 7.
I started my blog after hearing about Project 365. Every week I post my moments of the week in one whole post. I have gotten braver by posting other topics. Feel free to check it out.

  6. Awwww…that is precious. Hope my daughter will be as confident about her choices in life (being a proud breastfeeder being one of them..even if it’s just her doll) like yours is. 🙂

This is so my daughter she is 2 and she does it with her stuffed monkeys, unzips her jammies and looks at me and laughs its so cute. I guess she really does admire me

  9. I love these kind of pictures too. I remember my eldest daughter doing the same thing. I used to feel so proud of her. Jacinta

  10. I remember feeding my babies the same way when I was a little girl. I’ve now b/f four children & truly enjoyed it!

  11. There is nothing sweeter than that, the loving look on her face says it all; you are a fantastic mother and role model.

My moment came late, I know, little baby D has been sick for the first time and just wouldn’t let me put him down today. And so I’ve been soaking up the cuddles:

  12. My older son used to do the same thing with his monkey when I was feeding my little one. He still talks about bfing and mommy’s milk. Hi is almost six. Guess this is to be expected from a doula’s son.
