I am sure to make time for self love by scheduling a day of the week where my husband is not working and willing to care for our son for a few hours while I indulge. Usually it involves me seeing a girlfriend or getting a much-needed haircut! I try to shower daily and get in excersize so my self-worth and confidence are balanced but now that I’m expecting #2 I’m curious to see how different my ‘me’ time will change!

As a pregnant mom of a four-year-old and two-year-old, who also works full-time outside the home, my self-love is in forcing myself to bed by at least midnight every night…even if the house is a wreck and dinner isn’t prepped for the following day. I must have sleep or I can’t help anyone.

I run a Mommy group where I get to talk with other Moms but leave my children at home.
